Vegetarianism is looking better by the day
This article in Salon talks about the infestation of America’s meat supply with so-called super bugs, bacteria that have evolved immunity to commonly overused antibiotics. As usual, the government seems more concerned with the well being of the industry than that of th people.

3. Money is like a child—rarely unaccompanied. When it disappears, look to those who were supposed to be keeping an eye on it while you were at the grocery store. You might also look for someone who has a lot of extra children sitting around, with long, suspicious explanations for how they got there.

Mike [Murray] told us some jealous people in the Apple II or Lisa divisions of the company were so pissed-off at Steve for the way he frequently belittled them they got their revenge by keying his car. Because the close-in parking spots were usually gone by the time Steve arrived in the morning, he simply parked in the handicapped zone. No one would dare key Steve’s car when it was right in front of the building.
